The third game is another card game that is being designed by Christophe Boelinger. Mr. Matsuno will have a huge part in all three of these games and the world he is creating will be the backdrop for all three games.

Why is Playdek doing a Kickstarter?[ | ]

Playdek is looking to bring extra funds in to allow for development on additional platforms and to allow for the expansion of the creative team. They are already planning to bring out Unsung Story on iOS and Android devices; however we need additional funding in order to deliver the game on requested platforms such as PC and Mac.

Playdek and Yasumi Matsuno will continue to develop Unsung Story regardless of whether or not funding is met. The main focus on the crowd-sourcing isn’t to create the game but rather to bring the game to the platforms requested by our fans and to help further the immersive world being created by Mr. Matsuno.

What is the world of Unsung Story all about?[ | ]

The Unsung Story timeline covers many chapters of the sprawling war-torn history of the fantasy world of Lasfaria. The central plot follows the struggles of heroes who fought in the Seventy-Seven Years War between great kingdoms and empires.

The story for each hero will constitute an episode, with each episode being comprised of many stages of game play. Each episode will depict a part of the Seventy Seven Years War from the vantage point of various protagonists. Some episodes will span a single year, while others may take place over a decade or more.

You will play as one of the unsung heroes in this war, one who helped shape the course of the war but is not fully recognized by history. It will be up to you to play through these different chapters in order to uncover the mystery and truth behind the events that transcribed in Rasfalia.

Will the PC/Mac/Linux version be distributed through Steam, or will it be DRM free?[ | ]

We will provide a DRM Free copy of the game for those of you who would prefer that. We also intend to pursue Steam Greenlight when the project is close to completion, so you will be able to choose the best method of distribution for you.
